Welcome to the Feature & Follow
Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature & Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.
If you are new to the #FF fun, Feature & Follow Friday is a blog hop that expands your blog following by a joint effort between bloggers. Feature & Follow Friday is now hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!
How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them “hi” in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!
Now to make this #FF interesting we do a FEATURE blogger. If you are interested in becoming a Feature click on the drop down link above FEATURES > Feature & Follow Friday and get on the waiting list! How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your #FF post. A lot of blogs are transitioning to WordPress in which they do not have the luxury of GFC, so an RSS subscription is appreciated or if you choose an email subscription. If you don’t have GFC please state in your post how you would like to be followed. It is also required, that if you participate you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee & Alison Can Read) and the two Feature blogs.

And now the Random Question of this week:
What is one book that you would be nervous to see a movie adaption of because you think the movie could never live up to the book?
OK, I'm betting that quite a few people would agree that Veronica Roth's Divergent Trilogy movie would not likely live up to the book. I don't see how even with technology that we can represent the factions, Tris, Four and all th eother major characters throughout the trilogy. It would be interesting to see if they do though and who they get to play the character.
Yeah, I think it would be interesting too! Maybe it would surprise us like The Hunger Games did. :)

i agree! this is the same book i picked.

I honestly haven't read the series; therefore, I cannot weigh in on this one. That being said, however, I am curious to see the cast for adaptations. Sadly, I have been disappointed a few times. Honestly, they should poll the reading audience ^_~

Hi there :) just hopping through.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read this book but, it must be hard to duplicate the feel a book gives you to the onscreen, it's near impossible imo.
Here is my choice...
Feature & Follow
Hopping through!
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't i pick that? I totally agree, although they did do a good job with The Hunger Games...
Have an awesome weekend
I completely agree with Divergent. I really hope they do the book justice. New Follower(Im guessing you have GFC but I couldn't see it so I just followed by Linky) =]
ReplyDeleteHere is My FF
Hopping through. Divergent is a popular nervous pick. I still need to read the book.
ReplyDeleteMy Hop
I can't see Divergent as a movie either. Maybe it's possible, but I highly doubt it'd be nearly as good as the book.
ReplyDeletePatricia // My FF
I agree. I just think there're too many things going on in Divergent that would make it into a good movie!
